What is Air New England?
Air New England is an FAA Certified, Part 135 On-Demand Charter Operator. We have been in business since 2010 and are based at Waterville Robert LaFleur Airport, Lewiston-Auburn Airport, and Portsmouth International Airport. We offer both private and shared charter to numerous destinations in the U.S. and Canada.
Who can charter a plane and what does it mean?
Anyone can charter an aircraft. A “private charter” is where you charter the entire aircraft with specific destination and departure time. A “shared charter” is where you share the cost of the aircraft with other passengers who are traveling on the same route as yourself.
Are all taxes and fees included in the quoted price?
Yes, all taxes and fees are included in the quoted price. When traveling to some destinations outside the United States there may be certain customs overtime fees and others that may not be included in the quoted price but our staff will notify you of this prior to your flight.
How early do I need to arrive at the airport?
You may arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your flight. Relax!
Will I need my passport?
Yes, all passengers on international flights must have a valid passport to travel to and from the United States. Without this identification, you will not be allowed to board the aircraft. Citizens of non-U.S. countries may have additional entry requirements, such as visas and notarized authorizations. For information on U.S. entry requirements, we please visit www.travel.state.gov.
Do you allow pets on-board?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet(s)! Please advise us prior to your flight so that we may better accommodate you. Your pet must be confined to an FAA-approved carrier for the duration of the flight.
PLEASE NOTE: Pet owner is responsible for ALL PAPERWORK required by country of origin and destination.
Pets Traveling To the United States: Dogs entering the U.S. must have a certificate showing they have been vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days prior to entry into the United States. These requirements apply equally to service animals such as Seeing Eye dogs.
Are there meals and drinks inflight?
Complimentary light snacks and drinks are available.
What is your cancellation policy?
Itinerary changes are permitted, but subject to aircraft and crew availability and subject to price adjustment. Notification of changes and/or cancellations must be in writing and transmitted by email to email@example.com or faxed to 954-337-9239.
Cancellations or changes may be made without additional charge if made up to 72 hours of the original reservations. Cancellations within 72 hours of the departure time are charged 50% of the price quoted. Cancellations within 24 hours of the departure time are charged 100% or the price quoted. Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of your notice of cancellation.
IF YOU CANCEL LESS THAN 24 HOURS OF THE DEPARTURE DATE/ TIME: YOU WILL RECEIVE NO REFUND OF THE AMOUNT CHARGED FOR THE FLIGHT.
We have no right to cancel the charter less than 10 days before departure, except for circumstances that make it physically impossible to perform the charter trip. If that occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible, but not later than the scheduled departure date. If the charter is canceled, we will make a full refund to you within 14 days after cancellation.
